The Checklist Manifesto
05/23/10 5:28 AM

The medical world is still facing problems with preventable errors causing undue suffering and death. A potential solution is the use of checklists. In addition to showing successes in implementing checklists, this book demonstrates the difficulty in implementing simple checklists and the culture changes that need to take place in the healthcare arena. It is a great read.

BMETs use checklists everyday and therfore we can offer some expertise to the clinical staff. This is another opportunity to market your skills and understanding of complex problems and troubleshooting.
